On May 24, 2007 the Company entered into a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the United States Navy. The CRADA is with the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division at China Lake, CA and Point Mugu, CA. The Company is currently testing its products at China Lake and at the Navy’s Santa Cruz Island facility. The Company expects to transition the relationship with the U.S. Navy from CRADA partner to customer in the near future.
In July 2007, XET entered into an agreement with Chinacat Group, LLC. Chinacat positions early stage technology companies for successful product launch and growth. For XET, Chinacat will identify key customers and distribution channels, develop collateral and other required sales tools and secure and manage those sales in the US Market. Chinacat will also work to secure strategic partners with assets available to expand XET product categories and distribution into global markets where solar commercialization is further developed.
